In order for your CV to be approved on your Lantum account, it must include the following:
- your full name
- your GMC number
- details of where you studied/qualifications and completed your GP training
- details of your work history or breaks (leave, sabbatical, etc) within the last 3 years
- details of at least two clinical referees and their work professional/healthcare organisation email addresses (NHS, doctors.org.uk, etc), i.e. qualified doctors who have worked with you within the last 3 years. Clinical referees should be in a superior role or a colleague - Clinical Lead Doctor, GP, GP Partner or GP Trainer*
*Please make sure you have consent from your clinical referees to have their contact details on your CV.
Once your CV is approved, our blank clinical reference will be emailed to you (please keep an eye on your junk mail) should you wish to provide these to your clinical referees. You can upload completed references in the Reference 1 and Reference 2 document fields and they will be reviewed for approval.
We do not contact your clinical referees for references but their details are required on your CV for the benefit of Practice Managers. Majority of PMs do not contact your clinical referees if you have recent references approved on your Lantum profile. For more detailed information regarding clinical referees and references, please read through our References FAQ.
