Rota Tab
The rota tab on Lantum allows you to apply into sessions/shifts by your healthcare provider.
As long as you have selected to receive emails, you will receive an email like the one below to your registered email address when allocated into a session/shift.
You can then view all of your allocated sessions/shifts by going to 'My Diary', 'List' and then clicking on 'Booked'.
How to withdraw from a Rota session?
If you’re unable to work any of the sessions you have been allocated, you can withdraw from the session by clicking 'Cancel'.
This will send an email to the practice/rota manager, explaining that you’re unable to work the session/shift. If you withdraw from the session/shift within 72 hours of it you will need to also contact the healthcare provider to let them know. Their number will be provided on the cancellation pop-up.
How to apply to rota sessions?
In addition to seeing the sessions/shifts you have been allocated, you will be able to see the sessions/shifts that haven’t been allocated to a clinician and are available for application. You can view these by going to the Rota tab on your 'Find Work' page.
You will also be sent an email with a summary of sessions that have been made available to you, like the email below.
You will be able to apply to any sessions/shifts that are available by clicking on the 'Apply' button. Your application will then be sent to the healthcare provider for them to review and respond to. If you are successful you will be sent a booking confirmation email to your registered email address.
Underneath the 'Apply' button you will be able to see how many clinicians have applied to the session/shift. Some healthcare providers will accept applications on a first come first serve basis. However, some healthcare providers may use other factors to decide who works the session/shift.
Notification Settings
When you are a fully approved clinician on the site you’ll be able to view and apply for non-rota sessions/shifts on Lantum. You can decide how you would like to be notified about these sessions/shifts.
You can edit your notification settings on the site to choose what emails you would like to receive. You can do this by going to 'My Account' and then 'Edit Notifications'. You’ll then be taken to a page where you can tick which emails you would like to receive.
Lantum also has an Android and iPhone App and you can also edit your in-app notification settings. To do this, simply go to Profile and then Notification Settings.
You can turn push notifications on or off for the following:
- Session application is accepted
- Invoice paid
- New message
- Booking cancelled
- Booked session is updated
