Instant Book
Practices can set you up to be an instant book clinician. This means that your applications don’t need to be reviewed so as soon as you apply for a session/shift you will be booked in.
If you have instant booked a job under 48 hours prior to the job starting, please contact the practice immediately.
Lantum can forward the direct contact details of the practice over to you..
It is important to contact the practice as they may not be able to set up a full day of appointments 48 hours before the session/shift is due to start.
If you or Lantum cannot get through to the practice, you should assume the session/shift is no longer available. We do remind all practices signed up to withdraw any sessions/shifts that do not need filling.
I’ve instant booked a job for a couple of weeks time, am I booked in?
If the job is under ' Booked Jobs' on your Lantum profile and you have received a booking confirmation email, this means that the job has been successfully booked in.
If you would like to contact the practice to double check, you can do this by clicking on the job number and practice details, then scroll down and click ‘Ask Practice Question‘’. Here you will be able to directly message the practice/rota manager to check or to ask any questions you may have before your session/shift is due to start.
I’ve instant booked a job and I can’t find it under 'List'
Sometimes clinicians can instant book the same job within a matter of seconds, therefore it may say ‘booked’ when you click ‘instant book’, however if you do not receive a booking confirmation, then the job has not been booked.
To ensure you do not turn up to a session you are not booked in for, please check for a booking confirmation in your inbox and check through your booked jobs on Lantum. If you want to double check, do not hesitate to contact Lantum on our support email (support@lantum.com) or our online chat and our support team can look into this for you.
How to know if a job is instant book
If you are able to instant book a job you will see the 'instant book' button in place of the usual 'apply' button on a job listing.
