The BMA has recently produced guidelines for GP practices to perform individual risk assessments for all doctors to ensure the safety of individuals most at risk.
The guidance here
GP practices can do this by contacting the locum prior to the start of the session but after the session has been booked.
The BMA has emphasised that the individual risk assessments do not replace the need for workplace assessments which should take account of COVID-19 hazards and establish appropriate mitigation for them including the use of social distancing and PPE.
You can read guidance from the BMA here on the risk of COVID-19 to BAME doctors, actions for employers and advice on what BAME doctors should expect.
