When to publish shifts
You have the flexibility to publish shifts for new rotations, adding clinicians, or as needed. Much like creating shifts individually or in bulk, publishing them can be accomplished in the same manner.
Individually Publish
- Log into Lantum via the web through your rota manager account
- Navigate to ‘Rota’ in the top blue bar
- Create shifts for clinicians
- Select the individual shift to be published - a white box will appear with different actionable items
- Select ‘Publish Shift’ as seen highlighted in blue
- Ensure changes to be published are correct and select ‘Confirm and Publish’ in the pop up
Complete these steps and you’re done! Clinicians will be notified of new shifts in their notification centre in the Lantum app, as well as via push notifications or emails if they have these settings turned on.
Bulk publish
- Log into Lantum via the web through your rota manager account
- Navigate to ‘Rota’ in the top blue bar
- Create shifts for clinicians
- Click on the ‘Tools’ tab on the far right, highlighted in blue
- Select ‘Publish’
- Select the practice where the shifts are to be published from the dropdown on the top of the screen
- Toggle the filter to select a custom date range or leave turned off to publish for all dates
- Select the staff grade
- Review filters in the Summary
- Select ‘Confirm Publish’
Complete these steps and you’re done! Clinicians will be notified of new shifts in their notification centre in the Lantum app, as well as via push notifications or emails if they have these settings turned on.
