If you no longer require cover for a session that has been added to Lantum, please ensure to withdraw it as soon as possible, so that the clinicians are made aware that it’s no longer available.

How to withdraw an unfilled session (with or without pending applications)
1) Navigate to the Shifts tab
2) Click on the date you wish to withdraw in the calendar
3) The session will then appear on the right-hand side
4) Click on Withdraw
5) The warning message below will pop up to double check that you want to withdraw the session. If you withdraw a session in error, it will need to be reposted from scratch and a new #401 session reference will be generated.
How to withdraw a filled session (booking confirmed)
1) Navigate to the Shifts tab
2) Click on the date you wish to withdraw in the calendar
3) The session will then appear on the right-hand side
4) Click on Withdraw
5) You will need to enter a reason for withdrawing (please note this will be shared with the clinician)
6) Click on Withdraw
7) The GP will be notified the session is no longer going ahead and your reason for this.
Withdraw a filled session <7 days before start date
We do appreciate that occasionally things do come up last minute, for example vaccination deliveries do not arrive on time; however, please make every effort to withdraw shifts as soon as you can, at least 7 days before the start date.
If a filled session (with booking) is due to commence within a week, it’s no longer possible to withdraw this via the Lantum Shifts pages.
If you wish to withdraw a filled session <7 days before the start date, please contact our Customer Support team on 0203 771 8411.
If outside of our team's contactable hours please email support@lantum.com with the following information below, and we will aim to action as soon as our team are next available.
- Session number (starting with #401)
- Practice Name
- Session date
- Withdrawal reason

Please note: If you’re a Rota Pro user, you’ll still be able to withdraw shifts from your Rota tab.
Please note: In order for our support team to remove the filled session from Lantum, we do require a reason as to why the session is no longer proceeding and is being cancelled, so that this information can be shared with the clinician. |
Please note: Bookings cancelled more than 5 business days in advance will incur no penalty. If a booking is cancelled with less than 5 business days before the Engagement is due to commence, the Healthcare Professional may charge the Client a short notice cancellation fee which is payable to the Healthcare Professional. This is to be agreed between the Client and the Healthcare Professional.
