Here’s where you’ll find Swaps
Create an account
You’ll be asked to fill out some details
Then, you’ll be asked to enable notifications. Please enable them, you’ll get real-time updates on all your swaps that way!
After, you’ll land on the Swaps dashboard. You’re ready to start swapping!
Create a swap request
Select 'Swaps' in the bottom navigation menu and select 'Create swap'
Select the reason for your swap from the dropdown menu. You have the option to provide more details, or you can leave this section blank.
Once complete, select 'Let's go'
Select the shift you want to swap on your rota. Once you have chosen your shift, tap the 'Next step' button.
Have specific colleagues you’d like to invite? Select them from the list.
If not, you can skip this step and the swap will be available to all colleagues on your rota – to acknowledge, click 'I understand, share my request'
Just like that, your swap request has been created, ready for someone to make an offer!
Invite your Colleagues
If you select 'Share now +' you can invite your colleagues via social media to your swap.
Select your colleagues, and tailor your message to them (if you wish). After that, you have the option to 'Invite More' where you can see who you’ve already invited and add more Invitees.
Make an offer on a swap request
If you see an available shift you’d like to work, and have a shift to swap in return, head to the 'Available' tab at the top of the screen
Select the shift you would like to make an offer for
Any shifts you have been specifically invited to will be flagged with 'Invited' in red
To make an offer, tap 'Add a shift'
Select the shift you would like to swap on the calendar, then tap the 'Add Shift' button once you are happy with your choice
Once you are happy with your selection, select 'Send 1 shift offer'
You have the option to add another shift to your offer at this step if you wish
You will be asked to add, confirm, or update your rota manager contact details
If necessary, update your Rota Manager details. You can add a reason for the change as well
Once you’ve updated your Rota Manager contact details, click 'Confirm and send swap offer'
This will send the offer to the clinician who made the swap request
When you click 'Back to home' you’ll find your swap response under the 'Available' tab with the tag 'Responded'
Accept a swap
To see any offers, go to the 'Requested' tab and select the shift whose offers you would like to review
In this screen you can see all your swap offers. Choose the offer you would like to and click 'Accept this swap'
You’ll be asked to confirm or update your rota manager details. If all looks correct, click 'Confirm and send to rota manager'
You will see a screen confirming that a swap request has been sent. If you have two different rota managers, everyone who has been contacted via email regarding this swap will appear here.
Once you’re done, click, 'Back to dashboard'
Your swap will appear in the 'Swapped' tab
