From 31st August 2019, the Rlocums site will no longer be available for work and all users will be transferred to the Lantum site. RLocums users will benefit from access to the new and improved platform and tools.
We aim to make this process as simple and transparent as possible and have a dedicated team to support the setting up of profiles, the transfer of existing and future work and support for how to use the new platform.

Why is the merger happening?
Lantum is an innovative platform with improved functionality and tools compared to RLocums and the support of a dedicated tech team to keep it updated. By using Lantum, RLocums users will benefit from access to new software and our dedicated team will help you transition from Rlocums to Lantum.
What are the important dates for the RLocums merger?
10th June - Announcement of the upcoming merger
1st July - Practices and GPs are supported to move over to Lantum and can begin posting work onto Lantum for July, August, September, and onward.
31st August - The final date for posting work on RLocums. You can continue to book in your locum cover as usual through Lantum.
31st October - The date at which the Rlocums site will no longer be available*.
*Don’t worry though - On request, we can create a report to show all your historic records for your information. Once RLocums is closed to users entirely, you will still be able to get in touch and request any historical data you may need.

How do I set up a Lantum account?
You can get up your account easily, for free, by clicking and filling out your account details here. Feel free to get in touch with the team on lantum@rlocums.com for any enquiries or to book your demo!
Will my Lantum account have the same login details as my RLocums account?
You'll need to create a new account on Lantum, but if you want your login email and password to be the same, someone from our team can assist you or you can do it yourself when you register your practice at https://lantum.com/
Do I have the option of using RLocums from September onwards?
No, you can’t post any new sessions past August 31st. The site will stay open through October only for invoice payment. You can post all of your future work onto Lantum.
What will happen with my sessions after the 31st of August?
Any work currently posted on RLocums for sessions after the 31st August will be moved over to Lantum. We will ensure that the rate is identical.
How Lantum works
Can someone teach me how to use Lantum?
If you have a Lantum account or are looking to create an account, our team are more than happy to show you around the Lantum site over the phone.
Will I be able to work with the doctors I booked work with on RLocums?
We have a dedicated support team that are helping bring over all of your favourite GPs. When the doctors create their Lantum accounts, they will appear in the ‘My Staff’ tab on Lantum, if you have ever worked with them through RLocums.
Can the GP set the hourly rate?
On Lantum, you will always set the hourly rate for sessions at your practice but GPs are able to negotiate a rate with you - this is Lantum’s way of allowing both practices and GPs to have a say in the rate. If you have a special relationship / agreed rate with a GP, we can set up a private rate for you, just let us know at lantum@rlocums.com or support@lantum.com
How do I request a specific GP/GPs?
If you have posted a session and would like to request a specific GP to work it, you can do so. After you have posted the session, click ‘Request a doctor’. Read more here.
You can also choose to post a job only for selected GPs that you have set up as Priority Access and you can control the time that the session is available to your Priority Access staff before it is made visible to the Lantum marketplace. Read more here.
