Firstly, welcome to the Lantum platform! Once you have created your account, a member of our team will give you a call to make sure you’re completely comfortable navigating around the site, browsing jobs and booking sessions.
It’s really important to us that all users using the site have the necessary and up-to-date documentation. Please take some time to upload a scan or good quality photo of the following documents to your profile:
We also highly recommend that you upload your indemnity certificate showing the level of cover you have taken out.
Although you will be covered for locum work under the new Clinical Negligence scheme for General Practice, some practices will still require to see your indemnity certificate as a mandatory document required to work there.
To upload documents go to “My Account” in the blue bar at the top of the page. In your account overview page, scroll down to the section called ‘Your Documents’ and click on 'Upload documents'.
To find work click 'Find work' tab at the top of the page in the blue bar. From here you can view all the sessions/shifts available at your regular practice/site.
On this page you will see the following tabs; 'All Jobs', 'Rota', 'Bank', 'C-19 Response', 'Priority Access' and 'Practices I follow'.
'All Jobs', shows you every session/shift that is available to you
'Rota', If you have a rota relationship with a practice/site, when they post rota sessions, these will be shown under this tab.
'Bank', Any sessions/shifts posted by the Practice Group Bank you are part of will show here as well as within 'All Jobs'
'C-19 Response', The NHS needs help responding to the Covid-19 crisis. Covid-19 response sessions will be posted on Lantum with 'C-19' shown under the session number (#401....) so you are aware this is a Covid session.
'Priority Access', View any Priority Access sessions/shifts available to you via this tab, you will only see these sessions/shifts if you have a 'Priority Access' relationship with the practice/site that are posting these sessions/shifts.
'Practices I Follow', Search for sessions/shifts from practices/sites you follow, if you are part of a practice group bank, you will see sessions/shifts from practices/sites within the bank. If you are interested in receiving updates from more practices/sites:
- Click 'Details' on a session/shift, scroll down within the job description and click ‘follow’ next to the corresponding practice/site.
To view more details of a shift all you would need to do is click 'details', which will provide you with further information. If you have found a session/shift you wish to work, you can simply click on the blue 'Apply' button. Once you have applied, a notification will be sent to the practice manager/rota manager who will then action your application.
