If under unforeseeable circumstances you must withdraw from a session/shift this must be done as soon as possible. This can be managed from your 'My Diary' section, follow the simple steps below.
If you are NOT booked and confirmed for the session
If you have not been accepted into a session/shift the session/shift will show in your 'my diary' as an orange bar. To withdraw your application from a shift all you would need to do is click into 'My Diary', click on the orange session/shift and select 'withdraw'. Once your application has been withdrawn an automated email will be sent to the practice/rota manager to notify them of the withdrawal.
If you ARE booked and confirmed for the session
If you have been booked and confirmed, the session/shift will show up as green in 'My Diary'. If you need to withdraw from the session/shift then all you would need to do is click onto the session/shift you want to withdraw from and select 'cancel'.
Once you click 'cancel' you will have a pop up which will then prompt you to phone the practice and advise them that you are no longer able to attend the session/shift. After you have contacted the practice you can then provide a reason from the drop down and tick that you have called and then select 'cancel booking'.
* Withdrawing form sessions/shifts is taken very seriously by Lantum staff and practices. We reserve the right to remove locums from the site who do not act appropriately or cancel sessions without valid reason.
