You are unsure whether you have paid a locum GP that completed a session at your practice through Lantum (formerly Network Locum).
1. Not on SurePay
Unfortunately we will not be able to let you know whether the GP has been paid by the practice as we do not have access to your or the doctor's bank account. To find out if the GP has been paid, it is best to message the doctor directly.
When a GP is chasing an invoice that you believe you have paid, it is best to give the doctor the payment reference and when the payment was made so that they can check this with their bank statement.
2. Using the SurePay billing system
All payments to GPs are remitted from your account on the 16th of each month for the month previous. For example, for a session worked in June, the payment will be made on the 16th July. Due to the BACS system it can take up to three working days for the money to reach the GP's account.
